I.                  FORUM THEME

Innovation and Circularity in Environmental Systems

        II.             OBJECTIVES

The International Forum on Green Technology and Management (IFGTM) is considered the first annual environmental science forum in Vietnam. Established in 2011 by the Consortium for Green Technology Management and Research (CGTMR), with Hanoi University of Science and Technology as a founding member, IFGTM has successfully convened 15 times across various provinces and cities, including Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Can Tho.

Over time, IFGTM has evolved into a prestigious academic platform, bringing together scientists, policymakers, business representatives, students and international partners specializing in environmental protection, green technology, and sustainable development. This is particularly significant given Vietnam's commitment to achieving Net-Zero emissions by 2050 at COP26, alongside the active implementation of key strategies and resolutions regarding scientific and technological innovation, energy transition, green growth, and the circular economy.

In 2026, the IFGTM is organized on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, marking an important milestone in the University’s strategic transformation toward becoming a modern, leading Asian institution in engineering and technology, as well as a center of excellence in education, research, innovation, and talent development that plays a pioneering role in Vietnam’s higher education system.

The Forum is expected to serve as a venue for sharing and showcasing research findings, practical experiences, and cutting-edge green technology and management solutions aimed at sustainable development and the Net-Zero 2050 goal. It provides a space for members to strengthen ties with long-standing partners, expand networks with international organizations, and bridge the gap between academia, the private sector, and government agencies at all levels. Furthermore, IFGTM creates valuable opportunities for graduate and doctoral students to engage with an international academic environment.

         III.         SESSIONS

Session 1: Green technologies for environmental pollution control.

Session 2: Advanced management solutions for environmental protection and climate change adaptation.

Session 3: Exchange Forum: Environmental Education, Enrollment, and Industry-Academia Linkages.

        VII.      PUBLICATION AND PRESENTATION OF SCIENTIFIC REPORTS

-    Scientific papers of IFGTM 2026 should be submitted to the Journal of Science and Technology of Technical Universities at the online submission link: https://jst.vn/index.php/index/all/makeASubmission and also be sent via the submission system of the Network's website: http://ifgtm.com.vn or http://ifgtm.vn.

-        Scientific articles submitted on time and in specifications will be reviewed, edited and when accepted, will be published in the issue of the Journal of Science and Technology of Technical Universities.

-        Acceptable scientific papers are required to be presented at the sessions of the Forum, or presented as poster reports (A0 size printed on one side according to the prescribed template will be announced later).

        VIII.       MANUSCRIPT SPECIFICATIONS AND SUBMISSION PROCESS

-   Abstracts and full-text articles are presented according to the required form of the Journal of Science and Technology of Technical Universities (https://jst.vn/index.php/index/guide-for-author).

-        The manuscript of the article is only accepted for online posting via the website: https://jst.vn/index.php/index/all/makeASubmission, but it is necessary to note some points after submitting the article:

o   Select the correct category to submit: INTERNATIONAL FORUM ON GREEN TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT (IFGTM).

o   It is necessary to fully declare the names of the authors of the article, including the main author, the contact author and other participating authors (Full name; email address, office address, etc.)

o   When registering to declare Keywords on the system: pay attention to typing each keyword individually, do not copy all the keys and paste them.

o   The title of the article and the name of the author when submitting must use the font as prescribed by the template of the journal.

           Note: Articles must simultaneously meet the following requirements:

-        The abstract of the article is no more than 200 words in length, accompanied by 3-5 keywords for each abstract;

-        Articles with only the name of one author are not accepted.

         IX.         IMPORTANT MILESTONES

-      15/5/2026: Announcement of the 1^st Workshop.

-      30/6/2026: The deadline for submitting full papers via the jst magazine portal, and at the same time sending them through ifgtm.com.vn/ifgtm.vn's submission system.

-      31/7/2026: The results of the review will be announced and the revise process will begin.

-      9/2026: Until the results of the review of the article are available, the Organizing Committee will send the second announcement on the program of the Workshop.

-      9/2026: The Organizing Committee will send invitations to agencies and delegates to attend as mentioned above.

-      8/10/2026: Forum Day 

         X.         REVIEW AND PUBLICATION FEE

-         Review fee: 2,200,000 VND/article submitted to the Journal

-         Publication fee: 1,000,000 VND/article accepted for publication in the issue of the journal.
